Beatles Songs Insight

Have you ever listened to a Beatles song and wondered what they were trying to say? This quiz is not about such trivia as times and places or whom wrote or sung what song. But it it covers the original idea/inspiration/influence behind each song on six iconic Beatle albums. Includes Revolver, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Abbey Road and Let It Be.

This is not so much a competition, but more of a fun way to learn about what the Beatles were thinking of when they wrote the songs for their last six albums. You can guess if you are not sure of the answer from the multiple choice questions but do go back and use the Hint button for all the questions so you can see what the story was regarding each song.

The game includes a link to the song in YouTube so you can listen to it if you are not sure you remember how it goes (use the "go back" button on your phone to return to the quiz, it is usually on the bottom right of your phone) !

It should be pointed out that there is no all encompassing single influence for a song. There are usually many. The ideas and hints in the quiz are from several references and are generally thought of as the main impetus or idea behind the song but only the Beatles truly know what their influences were.

Just think how impressed your friends will be when you are able to recite an origin, influence or inspiration for each song on the album. May be good fuel for a playful debate. Increase your knowledge and be a true Beatles maniac.
